A1 Lesson: My Last Weekend (Past Simple)

Vamos falar sobre o fim de semana! Vamos aprender a usar verbos no passado com -ed. (Let's talk about the weekend! We will learn to use past verbs with -ed.)

1. Grammar Focus: Past Simple (Regular Verbs)

Para falar sobre ações completas no passado (como yesterday ou last weekend), usamos o Past Simple. Para verbos regulares, adicionamos -ed.

Verb (Present) Past Simple (+ed) Pronunciation (Sound)
watch (assistir) watched /t/ (like "watch-t")
listen (ouvir) listened /d/ (like "listen-d")
visit (visitar) visited /ɪd/ (like "visit-id")

Negatives (Negativas) & Questions (Perguntas)

Para negativas e perguntas, usamos o auxiliar did. O verbo principal fica no presente (sem -ed)!

Affirmative: I watched a movie.
Negative: I did not (didn't) watch a movie.
Question: Did you watch a movie?
