Vamos falar sobre o fim de semana! Vamos aprender a usar verbos no passado com -ed. (Let's talk about the weekend! We will learn to use past verbs with -ed.)
Para falar sobre ações completas no passado (como yesterday ou last weekend), usamos o Past Simple. Para verbos regulares, adicionamos -ed.
| Verb (Present) | Past Simple (+ed) |
Pronunciation (Sound) |
|---|---|---|
| watch (assistir) | watched | /t/ (like "watch-t") |
| listen (ouvir) | listened | /d/ (like "listen-d") |
| visit (visitar) | visited | /ɪd/ (like "visit-id") |
Para negativas e perguntas, usamos o auxiliar did. O verbo principal fica no presente (sem -ed)!
| Affirmative: | I watched a movie. |
| Negative: | I did not (didn't) watch a movie. |
| Question: | Did you watch a movie? |
